Leadership position within organisation driving corporate and financial goals
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Finance Manager to join our team at our Australian-owned sweater manufacturing business located in Biyagama EPZ. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including developing and implementing financial strategies, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.nnYou will need to communicate with the Australian HQ on the financial status of the Sri Lankan operation.
Responsibilities

- Supervise finance, shipping, purchasing and stores departments

- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company's financial goals

- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improving financial performance

- Monitor and manage the company's budget and financial plans

- Work with the management team to identify and implement cost-saving initiativesn

- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and systemsn

- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and compliance requirements

- Manage relationships with financial institutions, including banks and investors
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

- Experience in export and BOI environment

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet applications

- Detail-oriented and highly organized

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Experience in the apparel manufacturing industry is a added advantage
