Elegant Knitting International is seeking a senior operational leader to take ownership of the end-to-end customer execution platform of the business.

The Head of Customer Operations is responsible for converting confirmed customer orders into structured, executable internal flow. This role ensures that development, merchandising, planning, stores, and material movement are fully aligned to deliver on-time performance and operational readiness.

The position requires strong cross-functional authority, commercial awareness, and disciplined execution. This is a high-accountability leadership role with direct impact on delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Translate confirmed customer orders into structured and realistic production plans

  • Monitor week bucket execution and intervene where recovery plans are required

  • Lead the Development team to ensure on-time sample delivery and smooth transition to bulk

  • Oversee Merchandiser Team Leaders and enforce adherence to T&A milestones

  • Ensure full readiness of yarn, trims, labels, and packaging prior to production start

  • Coordinate development and merchandising to eliminate handover gaps

  • Govern Main Stores and Panel Stores to ensure stock accuracy, FIFO compliance, and documentation discipline

  • Control internal material movement to prevent undocumented transfers and delays

  • Implement structured operational readiness reviews before production release

  • Identify execution risks early and drive cross-functional corrective action

  • Maintain visibility dashboards for major customer programs and milestone tracking

Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in knitwear or apparel manufacturing

  • Strong exposure to development, merchandising operations, and production planning

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and team leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to enforce systems and operational discipline

  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills

  • Clear understanding of T&A management and material readiness control

  • Strong leadership presence with customer-facing confidence

  • Fluent English communication skills
