Production Executive
Elegant Knitting International Pvt Ltd at Biyagama Export Processing Zone is a leading apparel manufacturer with a strong global presence. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Production Executive – Sewing Operations to join our production team and support the daily execution of our sewing floor.
This role is ideal for individuals who want to build strong expertise in garment manufacturing while working in a fast-paced factory environment focused on efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
Responsibilities
* Monitor sewing line output, productivity, and efficiency to ensure production targets are achieved.
* Work closely with line supervisors and sewing operators to identify and resolve production issues.
* Assist in balancing sewing lines and optimizing manpower allocation to improve productivity.
* Identify bottlenecks and support improvements to increase line efficiency and reduce operational waste.
* Coordinate with cutting, finishing, quality, and planning teams to maintain smooth production flow.
* Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to ensure operational discipline and problem resolution.
* Ensure quality standards, production procedures, and safety requirements are followed.
* Take ownership of meeting production targets and maintaining delivery schedules.
Requirements
* 1–4 years of experience in garment manufacturing, preferably in sewing operations.
* Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of garment construction and sewing production processes.
* Exposure to line balancing, efficiency monitoring, or production planning is an advantage.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and operators.
* Basic computer literacy (Excel and production reporting systems).
* Comfortable taking responsibility for production performance and working in a fast-paced factory environment.
