Trainee Technician
We are a rapidly growing Australian-owned apparel manufacturer located in Biyagama EPZ. In this role, you will work closely with experienced technicians to learn how to diagnose and repair electronic equipment, in particularly our Japanese knitting machines. You will work closely with in-house industry experts from Sri Lanka, India and Egypt to learn to diagnose and repair electrical faults. Responsibilities
✔ Repairing and servicing electronic appliances
✔ Basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment
✔ Handling independent repair work and home service jobs
✔Can confidently use testing tools such as a multimeter
✔ Have a good understanding of basic electrical and electronic circuits
✔ Have hands-on experience in repairing electronic power units
✔ Are self-motivated and eager to learn new technical skills
✔ Can identify faults and clearly explain the root cause of issues
Requirements
- Technical college certificate or informal training.
- GCE O/L or GCE A/L
- Age between 18 - 28 years
- Candidates who are living close proximity to Biyagama
- Working in electronic service centers or technical workshops
