Embroidery Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Embroidery Department Manager to lead our embroidery operations and drive performance across the department. This role is ideal for individuals with strong technical knowledge in embroidery who can lead teams, manage output targets, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced factory environment.

This role includes managing embroidery production operations, overseeing the embroidery team, and ensuring that all embroidered goods are produced efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all embroidery machines, operators, and daily production output
  • Plan and schedule embroidery work orders in line with production delivery timelines
  • Monitor thread consumption, needle usage, and machine efficiency to reduce waste
  • Coordinate with design, cutting, sewing, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Identify and resolve machine faults, design errors, and production bottlenecks
  • Maintain embroidery digitizing files and ensure design accuracy before bulk production
  • Ensure quality standards, stitch counts, and placement specifications are consistently met
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate embroidery operators and support staff
  • Maintain discipline, attendance, and operational order across the department
  • Report daily output, efficiency, and downtime to senior management

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in embroidery operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of embroidery machines (Tajima, Barudan, ZSK, or similar multi-head machines)
  • Understanding of embroidery digitizing and design file management
  • Experience in production planning, target setting, and efficiency monitoring
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication skills in English; ability to coordinate across departments
  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, production reporting, and embroidery software)
  • Comfortable taking full ownership of department performance and delivery targets
