This is an active factory-floor coordination and technical follow-up role; sewing-machine operation is not the main duty. Applicants from all relevant apparel backgrounds are welcome.

Responsibilities

2. Ensure fabrics, cut components, trims and current instructions are ready.
3. Personally follow samples through cutting, sewing, embellishment, washing, finishing and quality checks as required.
4. Guide operators on sewing sequence and construction; resolve issues with technical staff and follow up corrections.
5. Check measurements, workmanship and appearance against specifications.
6. Maintain a daily sample tracker, manage priorities and deadlines, and escalate delays early.
7. Hand over complete, correctly labelled and documented samples on time.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sewing sample development, sample-room coordination, garment technology, sample quality or sewing supervision.
2. Strong practical knowledge of garment construction, sewing operations, seams, stitches, fabrics, trims and common defects.
3. Ability to interpret patterns, specifications, measurement charts and buyer comments, and measure garments accurately.
4. Confident communication, persistent factory-floor follow-up and practical problem-solving.
5. Good organisation and computer or spreadsheet skills to coordinate multiple samples and deadlines.
6. Relevant apparel training and English sufficient to understand technical instructions are advantages.
