Ironer / ඉස්ත්රික්කකරු
Responsible for ironing and finishing knitted sweaters to approved quality and buyer standards, ensuring correct shape, appearance, and presentation without damaging the garment.
Responsibilities

Iron sweaters using steam and pressing equipment as per style requirements.

Shape garments correctly without stretching, shine, or scorching.

Identify and report visible defects or quality issues.

Follow approved samples, size specifications, and work instructions.

Handle garments carefully and maintain clean, safe workstations.

Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements

Experience as an ironer in a garment or knitwear factory preferred.

Knowledge of ironing knitted fabrics and different yarn types.

Good attention to detail and quality awareness.

Ability to stand for long periods and work with heat/steam equipment.

Reliable, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.
